Our Mentor Sententence this week is from a book called Fireflies by Brinckloe. We will be looking at compound sentences as well as reviewing parts of speech, subjects and predicates, and using commas. 

Social Studies 

This week we will begin to study our Colonial period. We will learn about Jamestown and Plymouth and then on to the New England Colonies next week.
